Baseball Canada announces JNT selection camp schedule

OTTAWA-Baseball Canada is pleased to announce the selection camp schedule that will help determine the 20-player roster for the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup in Thunder Bay from September 1^st to 10^th.

The selection camp will be held at the Pan Am Ballpark in Ajax, Ontario from August 18^th to 27^th where Team Canada will hold daily practices and play a seven-game series against the Australian U-18 side.

Baseball Canada has enjoyed a strong partnership with Baseball Australia in the past with the 2013 and 2015 U-18 selection camps staged on Australia’s Gold Coast.

Team Canada will begin selection camp with three days of workouts followed by the opener against Australia on August 21^st at 7pm ET.

Following roster selection, Team Canada will depart for Thunder Bay on August 29^th before opening the 12-team event on September 1^st against Chinese Taipei (6:30pm ET) at Port Arthur Stadium.
