OTTAWA- Baseball Canada announced today the names of thirty-two (32) athletes who have been invited to the Women’s National Team Selection Camp in Toronto from May 10-17.
The camp will be used to determine the 18 athletes who will represent Canada at the Pan American Games in Toronto. The women’s baseball competition will take place from July 20-26 in Ajax, ON.
“The 32 athletes that will attend the selection camp have demonstrated the ability to compete at a high level,” said National Team Manager André Lachance. “Our coaching staff anticipates an extremely competitive camp with only roster 18 spots available.’
The camp will take place at Rogers Centre in Toronto on May 11, 12, 16 and 17. The camp will shift to a yet to be determined location from May 13-15. A detailed schedule will be announced at a later date.
