OTTAWA-The deadline to determine the next “You Wish You Could Throw Like a Girl’ poster contest is tomorrow (Friday July 13th) at Noon ET!
Baseball Canada released three different poster designs on June 28th and since then nearly 2,000 votes have been cast on Baseball.ca to decide the winner.
So far, poster #1 has a slight lead over posters #2 and #3. The vote has been extremely close which will certainly set-up an exciting finish!
The winning poster will be revealed on Baseball.ca by the Women’s National Team on August 9th before the start of the IBAF Women’s Baseball World Cup in Edmonton August 10th-19th.
Baseball Canada will use the winning poster in promotional material for Girls Baseball in 2013. It will be featured on the Baseball Canada’s Girls Baseball webpage and will be distributed to all Provincial Baseball Associations.
If you have submitted a photo which appears on the winning poster, you will receive an autographed bat signed by the Women’s National Team courtesy of Rawlings. Furthermore, all individuals who have submitted photos have been entered into a random draw for Baseball Canada merchandise.
