OTTAWA-Pitchers and catchers are reporting to spring training sites in Arizona and Florida this week, and in less than three weeks, the Junior National Team will call the Walter Fuller Complex in St. Petersburg, Florida home for an 11-day camp to kick-off the 2015 season.

If you can’t make it down to St. Pete to follow the action, you’re still in luck as Baseball Canada is pleased to announce that all eleven games will be available on-line at radiostpete.com!

In addition, the split-squad contest between the Junior National Team and the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday, March 15th (1pm ET) will be available on Sportsnet 590 The FAN, Sportsnet 960 The FAN and Sportsnet.ca.

The juniors will open camp on March 12th holding an official team workout before opening their schedule on March 13th against a Puerto Rican team that will feature some of the island’s top MLB draft-eligible prospects.

The schedule also includes games against prospects from the Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates.

The trip will conclude with a game against Tampa Bay Rays prospects at Tropicana Field, the home of the big-league club.

The Spring Training Camp in St. Petersburg is the first of four camps that will help select the final 20-player roster that will compete in the WBSC U18 World Cup at historic Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya, Japan.
