National Championship hosts announced

OTTAWA-National Championship hosts were decided this past weekend at the Baseball Canada Fall Convention held in Québec City.

The Baseball Canada Cup (17 and under All-Stars) returns to Saskatchewan in 2014 after Saskatoon won the right to host both the 2014 and 2015 events. The Cup was last played in the prairie province in 2010 when the event was held in Kindersley. In 2013, the Baseball Canada Cup will be part of the Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, QC.

Vaughan, ON will again play host to the 15U Boys (Bantam Boys) National Championship in 2014 and 2015. Vaughan has hosted this event every year since 2009 and will do so again in 2013.

The 21U (Junior) National Championship will be played in Dartmouth, NS in 2014. Dartmouth is no stranger to hosting National Championships after they hosted the Senior Men in both 2009 and 2010, and hosted the 13U Atlantic Championships (Peewee Atlantic) in 2011.

Baseball Canada is looking for National Championship hosts to fill available spots in 2014 and 2015.
