OSAKA, Japan-By virtue of a 3-2 Cuba win over Chinese Taipei, Canada will finish third in Group B and move on to the "Super Round" at the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup that will get underway on Thursday.
Today's game between Canada and South Africa was called in the middle of the third inning after heavy rain hit the area around Toyonaka Rose Stadium. The game was scoreless when the rain hit, but will start over again tomorrow at 12:30pm JST/11:30pm EDT (09/01) at Nanko Chuo Stadium in Osaka.
