HOLYOKE, MA- A five-run fourth inning opened the floodgates as the Junior National Team banged out 13 hits and took advantage of ten walks to defeat the Holyoke Blue Sox 11-4 at McKenzie Stadium.
TORRINGTON, CT- The Junior National Team dropped their first decision of the New England Summer Tour as the Torrington Titans scored a run in the fifth inning on a sac-fly and held on for a 1-0 win at Fuessenich Park.
LOWELL, MA- Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, ON) blasted a two-run home run as part of a five run first inning and the Junior National Team never looked back as they thumped the Boston Selects 16-5 to move to 2-0 on the New England Summer Tour.
SPRINGFIELD, MA- Nathan Borges (Brooklin, ON), Luke Manuel (Surrey, BC) and Brodie Harkness (Bowmanville, ON) limited the Strike Zone Selects to only one hit to lead the Junior National Team to a 10-0 win in the first game of the New England Summer Tour.
OTTAWA – Baseball Canada announced today the names of 24 players that will participate in the New England Summer tour scheduled for July 2nd-11th.
OTTAWA- Detroit Tigers prospect Jordan Lennerton (Langley, BC) will represent Canada on the World Team at next month’s Futures Game at Citi Field in New York.
