OTTAWA- Shawn Bowman (Port Moody, BC) had an exceptional week at the plate as a member of the Chinandega Tigers of the Nicaraguan Professional Baseball League (NPBL). Bowman’s hot bat earned him the offensive player of the week for the period of November 9th to 14th.

ORLANDO, Florida-The Atlanta Braves held the Junior National Team to just one hit as they took the final Fall Instructional League game 4-0. The game was shortened to seven innings.
ORLANDO, Florida-Roberto Suppa (Palgrave, ON) gave the Junior National Team an excellent start but it wasn’t enough as his team eventually fell to the Atlanta Braves 12-3.
