OTTAWA-Over the weekend, Baseball Canada held its 11th Annual National Teams Awards Banquet and Fundraiser at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel in Toronto. Once again, the evening did not disappoint as many of Baseball Canada’s distinguished alumni, corporate partners and friends assembled for an unforgettable evening.
TORONTO – Baseball Canada has submitted to WBCI for approval, the names of 23 players to appear on their Provisional Roster for the upcoming World Baseball Classic March 2nd-19th. The official Provisional Roster will be announced by WBCI on January 17th.
OTTAWA, ON – This week, the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), participated in a strategy session hosted by the Canadian Team Sports Coalition in Ottawa. The Minister spent much of the morning with the leaders of 15 National Sports Organizations representing team sports for an engaging discussion about the unique challenges facing team sports in Canada.
