50 for 50: Week 3 winner revealed, Week 4 voting begins May 26th

OTTAWA-Week 3 of voting in Baseball Canada’s 50 for 50 contest is complete and our third semi-finalist has been determined.

Loewen/Francis taken in Top 10 in 2002 MLB Draft won out and will move on to the semi-final round beginning on July 14th.

Week 4 of voting in the preliminary round will begin Monday, May 26th at 12pm ET.

Voters will be able to choose one of the following five choices to join our Week 3 winner in the semi-finals:

Week 4 (Voting: May 26th 12pm ET - May 30th 10am ET)

1) Saskatchewan wins 1994 Baseball Canada Cup

2) Baseball Canada is established in 1964

3) Trevor Grieve umpires 2013 WBC Final

4) Jimmy Van Ostrand wins 2012 IBAF Player of the Year

5) Canada wins 2011 Pan Am Games gold medal
