British Columbia captured the gold medal at the 2025 18U National Championships with a 2-1 victory over Ontario in a tense, pitching-dominated final.
ST. JOHN’S – For the first time in the history of the Canada Games, female baseball will be part of the official competition schedule, as the top 16U female baseball talent in the country will play for gold from August 18–24 in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
The 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John’s delivered an electric atmosphere throughout the baseball competition, with packed stands and a week of high-energy matchups showcasing some of the nation’s best young talent.
FORT MCMURRAY, AB – Eleven teams will meet in Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2025 18U National Championships, which will run from August 14-17 at Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place and Ross Hennigar Park.
OTTAWA – Over the weekend, British Columbia captured gold at the Women’s National Championship in Quebec City, while the Windsor Selects, representing Ontario, did the same at the 22U National Championship in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
With the championship season in full stride, the 2025 Canada Summer Games are stepping up to the plate from August 10th to 24th in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The men’s baseball competition gets underway on August 10th and will host ten 17U provincial teams: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, defending gold medalists from 2022 Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Québec, and Saskatchewan as they strive for gold on one of the summer’s premier stages.
This week, Canadian baseball takes over two provinces as national championships unfold in Dartmouth, NS, and Québec City, QC, between August 7th and 10th, 2025.
CALGARY, AB – Québec is golden after an incredible undefeated run at the inaugural 19U Women’s National Championship in Calgary, Alberta, defeating Ontario 14–2 in the gold medal game.
Eight teams are set to meet in Calgary, Alberta, for the 2025 19U Women’s Championships, which will run from July 31 to August 3 at Webber Academy Athletic Park.
