OTTAWA - Baseball Canada is thrilled to announce the third year of the Women in Coaching Program. This award winning initiative continues to create meaningful opportunities for women in baseball by empowering them to develop skills and build strong connections within the sport.
The program features a series of free NCCP clinics led by female Learning Facilitators (LF), creating a space designed by and for women. With only six female LFs in Canada, this initiative represents a step forward in access to coaching education for women.
The program welcomes 84 female participants from across the country and focuses on peer mentorship, shared learning, and community-building. In addition to the clinics, participants will take part in select leadership sessions featuring guest speakers, offering valuable insights into leadership, development, and growing the game of baseball.
By fostering meaningful connections and increasing opportunities for women to learn, lead, and coach, the Women in Coaching Program continues to strengthen the future of baseball in Canada. Baseball Canada looks ahead with excitement to the program’s continued growth and impact in 2026.
