Tournament Format Adjusted at U-18 Pan American Championship

The tournament format at the 2026 WBSC Americas U-18 Pan American Championship has been adjusted following weather-related game suspensions and the need to complete the Super Round and determine qualification for the 2027 WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup.

The Medal Round has been cancelled, with every effort now being made to complete all remaining Super Round games. Final tournament standings will be determined by the results of the Super Round, with the team finishing in first place being declared tournament champion.

Canada did not advance to the Super Round and is currently awaiting further information regarding additional Qualifying Round games.

Tournament organizers have indicated that games involving Qualifying Round teams may be scheduled on the final day of competition.

Stay tuned to Baseball Canada channels for further updates on Canada’s remaining schedule.
