Baseball Canada welcomes Megan Cundari and Joey Hutton to national office

OTTAWA-Baseball Canada is pleased to welcome Megan Cundari and Joey Hutton to its Ottawa based offices with both assuming the title of Program Service Coordinator.

A graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Human Kinetics program, Cundari comes to Baseball Canada by way of Volleyball Canada where she’s worked since 2021.

 

Her experience at Volleyball Canada included Events and Programs Assistant, Assistant Coordinator of the Men’s National Team, Coordinator for the National Excellence Program (NEP) and Administrative Clerk. 

Cundari will be working directly with Baseball Canada’s grassroots programing with a keen interest in girls baseball development, along with the areas of national championships, coaches, and officials.

“I feel thankful that I’m able to not only contribute to Baseball Canada’s overall success, but to the participation and development of young girls in baseball as well,” said Cundari.

Hutton joins Baseball Canada after three years with the Shooting Federation of Canada (SFC) where he worked as the High-Performance Coordinator running Olympic and Paralympic programs. His experience at SFC included travel to World Championships in Croatia and Egypt as well as the Championship of the Americas in Peru.

A graduate of Brock University’s Sport Management Program where he worked with both men’s and women’s hockey teams, Hutton will also work closely with Baseball Canada’s grassroots programs along with national championships, coaches, and officials.

“I’m very excited to join the Baseball Canada Domestic team and work to grow a sport that I feel so passionately about,”said Hutton.
