Blue Jays Baseball Academy and Honda Canada release Super Camp and Instructional Clinic schedule for 2015

For the 5th consecutive season, the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy will host both Blue Jays Honda Super Camps and Blue Jays Honda Instructional Clinics across Canada this summer.  These camps and clinics will target amateur baseball players ages 8-16 and will be run in partnership with both Baseball Canada and Little League Baseball Canada.  The Blue Jays Baseball Academy is committed to helping develop and grow the game of baseball across Canada.

"As we embark on our fifth season of the Blue Jays Baseball Academy, we continue to grow and expand the quality and reach of this program. We are very pleased to continue our partnership with Baseball Canada and Little League Canada to promote participation in the game of baseball across Canada. The partnership has allowed the Blue Jays, Baseball Canada, and Little League Canada to provide players across the country with a level of instruction they can find nowhere else. Together we continue to encourage the growth of the game of baseball in this country." - Stephen Brooks, Senior Vice-President, Business Operations, Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club

Jays Care Foundation has generously created a $25,000 fund towards registration fees for 122 players to help remove financial barriers to participation.  Also assisting is the Toronto Chapter of the Baseball Writers of America Association (BBWAA), who will donate registration fees for a select number of players.

Blue Jays Honda Super Camps:

The Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy will host 15 Blue Jays Honda Super Camps in all 10 Canadian provinces.   Blue Jays Honda Super Camps are open to both male and female players aged 9 to 16.  A large group of Blue Jays alumni once again return as instructors including Duane Ward, Roberto Alomar, Devon White, George Bell, Lloyd Moseby, Jesse Barfield, and Homer Bush.  The Blue Jays alumni will be joined by both coaches from both Baseball Canada and Little League Canada to help provide top level instruction to each participant.  New cities in 2015 include: Abbotsford, BC, Grand Prairie, AB, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Summerside, PEI, and Brandon, MB.
