Catch all of Team Canada’s World Baseball Classic games on Sportsnet

Sportsnet will air all 39 games of the 2013 World Baseball Classic, with multiplatform coverage of the tournament from March 1 to 19 across Sportsnet’s television, radio, and digital platforms. 

The international tournament begins with 16 teams competing in four groups in a round robin format, with the championships being played at AT&T Park in San Francisco from March 17 to 19. Sportsnet’s coverage begins on Friday, March 1 at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet East and Ontario, RogersAnyplaceTV.com and Rogers Anyplace TV Live mobile app, as Australia takes on Chinese Taipei live from Taichung, Taiwan (full broadcast details below).

Team Canada steps up to the plate for its first game of the tournament vs. Italy with live coverage on Friday, March 8 at 2:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. PT on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West and Pacific. Boasting one of the strongest lineups ever assembled, the Canadians will be led by a cast of Major League Baseball superstars including the Toronto Blue Jays’ Brett Lawrie, Cincinnati Reds’ Joey Votto, Minnesota Twins’ Justin Morneau, and closer John Axford of the Milwaukee Brewers.

All of Team Canada’s games will air live on television and digital.

Training Camp

Canada will open Training Camp on March 4th in Goodyear, Arizona before facing the Milwaukee Brewers on March 5th (3pm ET) and Cincinnati Reds on March 6th (9pm ET) in exhibition games.

Both of these games will be Audio Webcast through MLB.com.
