Nomination Deadline for CSTA’s 2013 PRESTIGE AWARDS is February 14th

OTTAWA, ON - The deadline for CSTA’s 2013 PRESTIGE Awards (Program Recognizing Exceptional Sport Tourism Initiatives, Games & Events) is Thursday, February 14th, 2013 at 8pm EST. The PRESTIGE Awards celebrate the people, places and events that make the Canadian sport tourism industry so vibrant and dynamic.

2013 Award Categories (NEW!)

Canadian Sport Event of the Year presented by Tourisme Montreal
International Sport Event of the Year
Volunteer of the Year presented by InterContinental Hotels Group Canada
Sport Tourism Champion
Sport Tourism Organization of the Year presented by WestJet
Canadian Sport Event Sponsor of the Year

These awards are presented annually in six categories to individuals, companies, events and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the success of the sport tourism industry across Canada. The 2013 CSTA PRESTIGE Awards will be presented at a gala luncheon event on April 10, 2013 in conjunction with CSTA’s Sport Events Congress that will be held April 8-10, 2013 at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa.

Eligibility Criteria

All 2013 Nomination criteria can be found here.
Award nominations must have occurred during the 2012 calendar year unless otherwise specified.
Self-nominations are permitted and encouraged by individuals or organizations.

Nomination Deadline

Nominations for the 2013 CSTA PRESTIGE Awards will be accepted via email until 8:00 pm EST on Thursday, February 14th, 2013.
