GIJANG, Korea – The 2016 edition of the Canadian Women’s National Baseball Team touched down in Busan, South Korea on Wednesday and have been busy preparing for the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup that gets underway on September 3rd at the brand new Gijang Dream Ballpark Complex.

OTTAWA-Four more national champions were crowned today as the Senior Women Invitation, Senior Men, 15U Boys and 13U all handed our hardware to their gold, silver and bronze medal winners.
Ottawa, ON – With the round-robin coming to an end at all 4 National Championships, teams battled it out looking to secure a spot in the medal round. A total of 25 games took place on Saturday, including three quarterfinal match-ups.

Ottawa, ON –Québec 17’ came out on top at the 18U Championship in Sherbrooke, QC with a 10-7 win over New Brunswick. This year’s gold medalists were ahead by a score of 5-1 on Sunday before the game had to be postponed until Monday. This marks the third consecutive year that Québec wins gold at the 18U Championship and, just like the last two years, they did it in front of the home crowd. New Brunswick was handed their first loss of the tournament in the gold medal game and will take home silver. It was their first appearance in the final of the 18U event in over a decade.
