GOLD COAST, Australia- In a game that nobody seemed to want to win, the Junior National Team pulled out a 5-4 win over the Australian MLB Academy as pre-worlds exhibition play continued.
Ottawa, ON – Both the 13U Peewee Western’s and Senior Men’s National Championships had two games each to start on Friday morning. Action will pick up during the afternoon where a total of twelve games will be played to mark the halfway point of the respective tournaments.

GOLD COAST, Australia-The day did not start very well for the Junior National Team as they dropped a 9-6 decision to Riseisha College in the afternoon before defeating Australia 4-3 this evening in what was perhaps their finest effort thus far of the pre-worlds selection camp exhibition series.

Windsor, Ontario saw a mix of sun and cloud to kick off their day, while games in Spruce Grove, Alberta, do not begin until 1:00p.m. MDT (3:00p.m. ET).

GOLD COAST, Australia-Australia struck for four runs in the fifth inning to take a commanding five-run lead as they went on to defeat the Junior National Team 8-5 in exhibition play.
