OKINAWA, Japan –The Canadian Men’s Baseball Team used a six-run second inning and hung on to defeat world No. 1 ranked Japan, 6-5, in game one of the ENEOS SAMURAI JAPAN SERIES, a two-game exhibition series in preparation for the upcoming World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Premier12.

OTTAWA – Baseball Canada is pleased to announce the names of 28 athletes selected to represent Canada at the 2019 WBSC Premier12® that will take place from November 2 - 17.
The marathon that is the 162-game Major League Baseball regular season is in the rearview mirror as of Sunday with ten clubs qualifying for postseason play that gets underway on October 1st and 2nd with the playing of the National and American League Wild Card games.
OTTAWA – Cameron Barnes’ single in the top of the sixth scored the go ahead run while Drew Jeffery and Sam Hope combined to toss six scoreless innings to lead Yarmouth to a 3-2 win over Capital District in the championship contest at the 13U National Atlantic Championships.
OTTAWA –Summerside and Capital District, squads representing Prince Edward Island, picked up wins on Friday at the 13U National Atlantic Championships in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and have advanced to the semi-finals.
OTTAWA – Host Dartmouth, along with Summerside (PEI) and Capital District (PEI) all picked-up two wins on Day 1 of the Baseball Canada 13U National Atlantic Championships as eight teams began play.
GIJANG, South Korea - Junior National Team shortstop Austin Gomm (Mississauga, ON) has been named to the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-18 Baseball World Cup "All-World Team".
