SASKATOON- Baseball Canada celebrated the best that 2015 had to offer during the organizations annual awards banquet Saturday night which put a wrap on the annual Baseball Canada Fall Convention.
DOULIU, Taiwan- Canada and Venezuela played to a 5-5 tie as both clubs played their final tune-up game before the start of the inaugural WBSC Premer12 tournament that begins tomorrow when Japan takes on Korea in Japan.
DOULIU, Taiwan- Pete Orr (Newmarket, ON) drove in four runs and Skyler Stromsmoe (Etzikom, AB) hit two doubles and drove in two runs as Canada thumped Mexico 8-0 in Premier 12 exhibition play. Canada used seven pitchers who combined on the shutout including starter Scott Diamond (Guelph, ON) who tossed three innings.
OTTAWA – The young Rally Cap players were all smiles as The Greater Niagara Baseball Association celebrated their accomplishments during the league’s first ever Rally Cap Day.
PHOENIX, Arizona- The United States took advantage of a bases loaded situation in the sixth that saw two runs score on a single en route to a 2-0 win over Canada. The two teams will play the third and final game of the exhibition series tomorrow.
