OTTAWA-The International Baseball Federation revealed hosts for three World Cup events over the weekend at meetings in Prague, Czech Republic and Baseball Canada has been named host of the 2017 18U World Cup that will take place in Thunder Bay, ON.

St. Francis Xavier High School Baseball Academy, located in Edmonton Alberta, is searching for a candidate that is experienced in dealing with amateur baseball student athletes. The program also integrates St. Thomas More Junior High School students. Currently there are 80 to 95 students enrolled in the program. The ideal candidate for this position must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and possess the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. The position requires a high level of collaboration as well as strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
Antigonish, Nova Scotia — GoodLife Kids Foundation announced that Antigonish Challenger Baseball has been selected as a finalist in their National Win 4 Kids contest. As part of the contest, GoodLife Kids Foundation is giving away a total of $100,000 to programs across Canada that are helping kids have a healthier future.
