CHATHAM, MA- The Junior National Team had a chance to put an exclamation point on their tour through New England with a victory in the tour finale, but, instead, came up with a flat performance in a 5-4 loss to the Chatham Selects.
New Bedford, MA – They say that pitching is ‘the name of the game’ and that certainly rang true as four Junior National Team pitchers combined to strikeout 16 New Bedford Bay Sox batters as the visitors survived a late scare to hang-on for a 2-1 victory.
OTTAWA- Baseball Canada’s National Championship season officially kicks-off this week with the Senior Women Invitational set to begin Thursday, July 11th and run through until Sunday, July 14th in Granby, QC.

DANBURY, CT- For a moment, it looked as though the Junior National Team was set to complete the comeback and earn a victory over a New England Collegiate Ball League club for the second consecutive night, but in the end it wasn’t meant to be as Danbury handed the juniors a 10-5 loss.
HOLYOKE, MA- A five-run fourth inning opened the floodgates as the Junior National Team banged out 13 hits and took advantage of ten walks to defeat the Holyoke Blue Sox 11-4 at McKenzie Stadium.
TORRINGTON, CT- The Junior National Team dropped their first decision of the New England Summer Tour as the Torrington Titans scored a run in the fifth inning on a sac-fly and held on for a 1-0 win at Fuessenich Park.
