OTTAWA-Baseball Canada is pleased to announce that Baseball Regina has fulfilled all of the elements of the RBI Program (Reaching Baseball Ideals) and is now RBI Approved. Baseball Regina becomes the 13th association to achieve the designation in Canada and also the 6th association in Saskatchewan to do so.
Guerra- The Junior National Team saved perhaps their best performance of the Dominican Summer League camp for last as they beat the Los Angeles Dodgers Dominican prospects 4-1.
Boca Chica-The Philadelphia Phillies Dominican prospects used a six-run 6th inning to beat the Junior National Team 10-8 in Dominican Summer League action.
San Pedro de Macoris-The scheduled doubleheader against the Atlanta Braves and the Toronto Blue Jays at the Dominican Summer League Camp has been cancelled due to rain.
BOCA CHICA- After playing to a tie yesterday, the Junior National Team kept the trend going by tying the Florida Marlins Dominican prospects 3-3 and the Dominican Academy 2-2.
OTTAWA- Championship season is right around the corner! With baseball well underway in most parts of the country right now, Baseball Canada has released the schedules of all nine National Championships.
Villa Mella- The Junior National Team played the Seattle Mariners Dominican Summer League team to 2-2 draw before rain ended the game after 7 innings. The second scheduled game of the day against the Milwaukee Brewers was called before one inning was complete, also due to rain.
