OTTAWA – Baseball Canada today announced, in partnership with the Canadian Dermatology Association, a new initiative called Strike Out the Sun, which aims to educate the baseball community about the serious health risks associated with too much sun exposure.
Ottawa, Ontario – The game of baseball greeted residents of Trois-Riviéres, Québec, and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia this morning as the 18U (Midget) and 21U (Junior) championships got underway. A total of eight games were played to get the day started.

Ottawa, Ontario - The first day is complete in both Trois-Riviéres and Dartmouth, which saw great games from all participants, including two dominant performances by the host teams. In the 18U event, New Brunswick currently stands in first place with a 2-0 record, while Ontario stands atop the 21U event with the same record.
Ottawa – Baseball returns to both Québec and Nova Scotia this weekend to kick off a pair of championship tournaments. Trois-Riviéres will host the 18U (Midget) tournament while the 21U (Junior) tournament will be hosted a little further east in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
OTTAWA- For the second consecutive year, Canada will open the IBAF 18U World Cup against Japan as the tournament schedule was released today by the International Baseball Federation.
OTTAWA- Baseball Canada announced today 25 players that have been invited to the team’s final selection camp at Palm Meadows Baseball Complex in Gold Coast, Australia from August 16-26.
SHERBROOKE, QC-Ontario and BC will meet for gold tomorrow night at Amédée Roy Stadium (6pm ET) after both teams were victorious this evening in semi-final games.
