CHARLOTTETOWN – Manitoba has gotten off to a good start at the 2009 Canada Games with a pair of win on day one of the baseball tournament, including n 8-4 win in front of a sold out crowd against the host province Prince Edward Island.
OTTAWA – A four run fifth inning broke a 4-4 tie as Alberta went on to capture the Senior Men’s Championship with an 8-4 win over Québec in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

OTTAWA – Teams are jockeying for position at the Baseball Canada National Championships. In Toronto, three teams have guaranteed themselves a shot at a medal, while the other three championships teams are starting to pull away.
